Hunters 1st LINERS game
Hunter had his first LINERS baseball game last night in Herriman. Don't worry that the poor kids played in 30 degree weather with the wind blowing! It had to have been even colder with the windchill... He played 2nd base (which he has never done before) and he pitched the last inning. By the time his turn came around it was FREEZING!!!! He got the worst conditions of everyone to try to pitch to the Herriman LEAGUE CHAMPS from 2009... He did awesome though! Struck his first batter out even though he could barely feel his fingers and other body parts... His team hasn't even been outside on a field yet and they decided to have a practice game in freezing cold weather against the league champs. Hmmm.... :) Way to go Hunter! Hope the next game is slightly warmer....

ReplyDeleteThanks for posting these pictures! It was so much fun for me to see! My grand-daughter started playing baseball last week. Her first time. She is the only girl in the YMCA league. 66 boys and Carey Lee. Should be a fun season to watch.
